I can feel the crowd, hear the ipod and see how everyone is in their own world. With all this technology; some of us have connected with people all over the world (like you and I). Others are becoming more of a recluse and finding more joy in being mentally alone.

When I do have interaction with others I look to be very kind and thoughtful in how I treat them. I'm a big fan of non-conformity, originality, eccentricity and watching carefully where the herd goes and heading the other way as quickly as possible.

Your post brings to mind a phrase that's stuck with me for many years - 'Defy Stupid Laws, Always Question Authority'. Naturally this can be taken on many levels. Here I feel the relevance is in defying boring norms and questioning established conventions.

Having said all that, I guess the reason so many of us involved in online marketing seem to follow the same well trodden paths is this: Unless one has such a strength of purpose and clarity of vision as to be able to transcend the conventions, succeed and be truly great, then it's difficult not to drown in the oncoming tide of the established collective force. Most would rather do ok the 'copy & paste' way, rather than risk all or nothing for the gold.

JymJymhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01638143151254466570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4326849451603077200.post-91198037278472692492010-09-06T07:01:43.253-07:002010-09-06T07:01:43.253-07:00Hey Kiaran,
